2013 West Indies Markets
Get ready for another summer of fine arts and crafts, as the 2013 West Indies Markets, returns for another season. Now in its 15th year, the May, June and July events have brought in thousands over the past years, and more than 2,000 artisans and crafters from all over the world, in a variety of mixed media.
The first West Indies Market is May 11 & 12, from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. both days of the market. Other dates include June 8 & 9; and July 13 & 14. Times remain the same for all market weekends.
The first market will have more than 60 vendors in the media of watercolor, oil, and pastel paintings; pencil and ink drawings; photography; clay pottery, stained glass; handcrafted jewelry and furniture; artistic clothing; natural soaps and oils; wood, metal and stone sculpture; and a variety of other artwork. Artisans and crafters from more than 25 states and two countries, will be taking part in the event that is now being called an International Art Market, and continues to grow each and every year.
